Contemporary Family Bathroom

Our Client's home was a large semi-detached property in Forest Hill that had recently undergone a beautiful extension and renovation on the ground floor. Situated on the first floor, the existing family bathroom wasn't completed to the standard of the rest of the property. With the client's children as the main users of the bathroom, they were keen to design a space that appealed to them, whilst maintaining the sophisticated feel of the wider renovation.

From simple sanitaryware to eye catching terrazzo tiling, this beautiful bathroom epitomises timeless style and contemporary luxury.

 

The design utilises a number of optical tricks to create the illusion of space. Keeping the floor clear with a large wall hung vanity unit that's immediately visible as you walk into the bathroom makes the floor print of the room appear larger. Using the floor tiles up the side of the bath tricks the eye into thinking the floor continues under the bath. The white suite and light wall tiles help create a spacious and airy feel, while the brushed stainless steel fixtures further elevate the space. The mirrored vanity brings additional light into the room, as well as providing valuable storage alongside the larger sink vanity unit and bespoke wall niche, helping keep the room clutter-free.
